Bruce- Glad you like the shots! The Rusty D8 was taken at an abandoned cement factory across from Jamesville quarry about 4-5 years ago, it has since been removed. The excavator is on display at the Quarry. If you do a search on the abandoned cement factory in Jamesville, you'll find some interesting history. Rick

I have one of the Cat D8 photos framed and hanging in my office along with the photo of the blue, cable operated excavator. I received them as gifts and love them both! I'm wondering if you could share where the pics were taken. I assume someplace local?

Terrific work Rick. You shoot a lot of the same things I do, I love waterfalls and lean towards longer exposures. You have a lighthouse that is very similar to one we have in Duluth Mn at the entrance to the harbor. For a while there I thought you were in my neck of the woods. Enjoyed my visit through your work.....

Rick, your images are amazing! Your Photography Experience really shows, in technique, composition, and post processing. I really like the vivid colors you use, and your masterful use of HDR. Your "style" really stands out, and makes a statement at the same time. It is obvious you really enjoy what you are doing, and *that* makes it extra-enjoyable in viewing these images.
